Privacy Policy

Short version: We collect only what we need to run the service, we do not sell your data, and you can delete your account and all associated data at any time.

Who We Are

TeraGrab ("we", "us", "our") is an online service that lets registered users download and stream videos from TeraBox share links. Our contact address is support@teragrab.com.

Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account data - your name, email address, and hashed password when you register.
Usage data - TeraBox URLs you submit, the resulting file metadata (name, size, quality, duration), and the date of each download.
Technical data - IP address, browser type, and device information collected automatically via server logs.
Google OAuth data - if you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google. We do not receive your Google password.
Payment data - we do not currently process payments directly. When payment is introduced, it will be handled by a third-party processor and we will not store card details.

How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account.
To process TeraBox links and return downloadable video streams.
To enforce plan limits (free plan: 10 downloads per day).
To respond to support requests sent to our email.
To prevent abuse, enforce our Terms of Service, and maintain platform security.
To improve the service through aggregated, anonymised usage analytics.

Cookies and Local Storage

We use a single session cookie named tg_session to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. Google Analytics may set its own cookies to provide aggregated traffic statistics - see Google's privacy policy for details.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

Service providers - hosting and infrastructure providers who process data on our behalf under confidentiality agreements.
Legal requirements - if required by applicable law, court order, or government authority.
Business transfers - in the event of a merger or acquisition, user data may be transferred to the new owner who must honour this policy.

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Download history records are retained to power your dashboard. You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which permanently removes your profile, download history, and API keys. We may retain anonymised aggregate data indefinitely.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to or restrict how we process it. To exercise any of these rights, email support@teragrab.com with the subject "Data Request". We will respond within 30 days.

Security

Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes - we never store plaintext passwords. All connections use HTTPS. We apply standard security practices including rate limiting and input validation. No online service can guarantee absolute security; we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.

Children

TeraGrab is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
